We are stoked to host another weekend of camping, community and creation. Join us for our second WSP Artist Retreat!
Where: The Quinn’s house in Ooltewah, TN near the Harrison Bay area (exact address provided after sign-up for privacy reasons)
When: Friday, May 24th 4PM-Saturday May 25th 4PM
Cost: Suggested cost is $50 to cover Saturday’s breakfast, lunch, and other retreat expenses, but please let us know if you cannot pay- we’ve got you covered!
What to expect:
FRIDAY
Arrive any time after 4PM to set up your tent. Around 6PM we will start the bonfire and potluck.
Hang out with each other around the fire, create, play games, whatever you want! When it gets dark, we will do an Art Burn, ceremoniously releasing finished artworks to the sky and the earth by burning them.
SATURDAY
We will start the morning with a group yoga session, followed with some alone time and breakfast made by the Quinns! After breakfast, we have two breakout sessions planned. We will have a painting and poetry session with Charity Troy and Aaron Quinn, as well as an altered journal session with Dee Miles and Christen McNelly.
After our breakout sessions we will have lunch prepared by the Quinns and then share what we created/experienced during the retreat.
