Hope and Other Beautiful Things

You see, all artists are messengers.

What began as a modest collection of thirty-six poems for a nationwide chapbook competition – that was ultimately rejected – took on a life of its own and grew exponentially. Those words became Hope and Other Beautiful Things, the second full length poetry collection from the Mad Hatter mind and flower(big)mouth of Maverick L. Malone.

This is publishing the proof of hope. This is an example of keeping. This is not letting a beautiful thing go to waste. This is believing these words deserve to exist in all their fullness, in a world that desperately needs the message. This is believing in that message.

This is breathing life into a dream.
